The Big Event is a coming together of Shenandoah Presbytery congregations, Presbyterian Women, church officers, pastors and other church professionals to celebrate our oneness in Christ.  The day is designated for people of all ages and stages of life.  It is a time of worship, learning, sharing, and fun.  It is an opportunity to renew your faith and feed your soul.  Come experience The Big Event.

A Message from the Planning Committee
The Spirit of God is alive and well throughout Shenandoah Presbytery.  From our vantage point, we can see God is doing many exciting things in our congregations and it is our desire for others to celebrate this.  We have been thrilled with the Spirit of God and the spirit of cooperation that has been at work in the planning of this event.  It is our hope and prayer that The Big Event will be a day when all of us can come together, celebrate the Spirit of God and enjoy inspiration and encouragement as a family of believers.

  8:00—9:00 am    Registration in Stewart Hall
                           Mission Fair
  8:45 am             Singing in Stewart Hall
  9:00—9:50 am    Worship in Stewart Hall
10:00—11:30 am   Morning Workshops (in various locations)

11:45—12:30 pm   Lunch in Hotel Dining Room
                           Dessert served at the Mission Fair

  1:00—2:30 pm    Afternoon Workshops (in various locations)
  2:40—3:00 pm    Closing Celebration and Sending in Stewart
