Spiritual Care Response to Disasters and Pandemics
A Conference for Local Clergy and Allied Professionals
October 24, 2007

The University of Virginia Health System will host a day-long conference this October, focusing on pastoral care during pandemics and disasters. There will be an overview of current expectations, as well as discussion on local clergy planning, involvement, clergy reactions and responses. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This event is being coordinated as part of National Pastoral Care Week. The Clyde M. Watson Jr. Distinguished Service Award for Pastoral Care and Education will be presented, as well as the Medical Center Hour. Please mark your calendar to save this date. More details to come!
