The following new study resources
for individual or group use are available for you at the Resource Center!
Belief: A Theological Commentary on the Bible from Westminster
John Knox Press offers a fresh and invigorating approach to the Bible. Building
on a wide range of sources from biblical studies, the history of theology,
the church’s liturgical and musical traditions, contemporary culture and
the Christian tradition, this series focuses less on traditional historical
and literary angles and more on a theologically focused commentary that considers
the contemporary relevance of the texts.
The volume on Genesis
offers a new and interesting theological interpretation
using the themes of liberation
and the concerns of the poor and marginalized.
The Hebrews volume
focuses on this extended sermon that has guided and nurtured
the church
through many significant controversies throughout its history.
The Interpretation commentary series
by John Knox Press has expanded to include collections based on passages
and themes.
In The Sacraments in Biblical Perspective, Ronald P. Byars offers
a comprehensive look at the history and theology of the sacraments
of baptism and the Eucharist.
Faith Questions, a new youth curriculum from Westminster John
Knox Press is based on questions posed by older youth from around the PC(USA).
Each question is explored through four class sessions.
Politics

poor decisions in their personal
lives, and is it ok to talk about politics at church?

and ways we can answer that
call.
