Shenandoah Presbytery

The leaders of our Ethiopian partner synod, the Illubabor Bethel Synod, have requested that the Sessions and congregations of Shenandoah Presbytery offer prayers of thanksgiving for a successful Tenth Convention and Millennium Celebration. Representatives from Shenandoah Presbytery were present at these events. Prayers of Thanksgiving may be offered for:

1. Ordination of first female pastor in Illubabor Bethel Synod, Bekelech Bulli
2. Thirty-eight new congregations were established and 39 new pastors ordained.
3. Establishment of a synod in Jimma planned within the coming five years
4. Sylem Shunga, former parish, established as a presbytery
5. Participation of Women in Leadership was given special attention
