Shenandoah Presbytery

The leaders of our Ethiopian partner synod, the Illubabor Bethel Synod (IBS), have requested that the Sessions and congregations of Shenandoah Presbytery offer prayers for them as a part of their ongoing prayers for the world and for Christ's church.

The Illubabor Bethel Synod, EECMY, will be celebrated the 20th Anniversary of their becoming a Synod on November 28, 2010 in Metu, Ethiopia. They recognized the important role the partnership relationship with Shenandoah Presbytery has played in their ongoing mission and ministry. Shenandoah Presbytery sent two people to represent the presbytery at the Celebration: the Rev. Randy Webb, and Elder Doug Sensabaugh. Winchester First Church sent John Fisher from their congregation to be a part of the delegation to the IBS Celebration.
