MEMO TO: Pastors and Commissioners to Presbytery FROM: Jan G. Owen, Stated Clerk DATE: January 26, 2010 RE: February 20, 2010, Rescheduled MEETING OF PRESBYTERY The Presbytery of Shenandoah will meet in stated session at the Spring Hill Presbyterian Church in Staunton, Virginia, on Saturday, February 20, 2010. (Directions below.) A nursery will be provided for babies and small children. We ask that you contact Kim May at 540-350-2441 no later than February 5, so that proper arrangements can be made. LUNCH can be purchased before the convening hour of 9:30 a.m. at a cost of $8.00 HANDBOOK The Handbook of Reports will be available on Presbytery’s web site www.shenpres.org The Handbook contains essential information for advanced study to enable Presbytery to make informed and prompt decisions. Please be sure all voting members of Presbytery receive a copy. They include all pastors and elected commissioners. DIRECTIONS TO CHURCH: From the North: Take I-81 South to exit 227 (Verona). Turn right onto Laurel Hill Road. Cross US Rte 11 onto Quicks Mill Road. This road makes a sharp left after about two miles. Continue on Quicks Mill Road to a "T" intersection with Spring Hill Road. Turn right and stay on Spring Hill Road for 3.4 miles. Spring Hill Church will be on your right. From the South: Take I-81 North to exit 227 (Verona). Turn left onto Laurel Hill Road. Cross US Rte 11 onto Quicks Mill Road. This road makes a sharp left after about two miles. Continue on Quicks Mill Road to a "T" intersection with Spring Hill Road. Turn right and stay on Spring Hill Road for 3.4 miles. Spring Hill Church will be on your right. From Route 42: Travel route 42 to Mt. Solon Road. From the South. you will turn right. From the North (Harrisonburg) you will turn left. After about 7 miles, Mt. Solon Road becomes Spring Hill Road. Bear right onto Spring Hill Road. The church is just down the hill on your left. |
