The Professional Development Committee is responsible to promote and provide for continuing education for church professionals who are compensated by the church (excluding reimbursement), including ministers, Christian educators, commissioned lay pastors, and musicians, who may be serving in either full time or part time positions.  Oversight of scholarship funds for church professionals and families is also a part of the committee's responsibilities.
