Biblically speaking, stewardship is really all about discipleship. At the beginning of his book Ask, Thank, Tell: Improving Stewardship Ministry in your Congregation, author Charles R. Lane says he believes that biblical stewardship has been “kidnapped“ from our congregations and replaced by “paying the bills.” A New Way to Brown Bag! When Liza Coffman, a middle school teacher, saw how hunger affected children, their study and learning habits, she saw the opportunity to open ministries in WPC’s new facility. As the Luke’s Backpack Program at the local school ended for the summer, she began the Brown Bag Blessings. It's Finally Moving Day! The Books for Africa program has filled a container of books to go to Ethiopia later this month. We Have Liftoff! With this dramatic message, the Shenandoah Living Waters Team neared completion of the Living Waters for the World installation in Comalapa, Guatemala. |
